Maureen shares if she is able to find time to care for herself while caring for her father with Alzheimer's disease.
Maureen:
I don’t. I don’t. I should and I need to do it, but I just, I am not good at that part. I keep thinking, "Well, once we get past this crisis" or "Once we figure out what this program is going to be and how he is going to interact with it," and then all those things are arranged. Then I think, "Okay, well, now there’s really no time for me to do anything because now I’ve got this whole set, new set of issues or circumstances I have to deal with."
I am in burnout right now and should be taking a few days off, but it’s not going to happen, so you just kind of do the best you can.
