I was taking pempro, it quite helping me. The doctors here took me off and put me on an estrogen cream that does not good. I have been taking tylenol PM for five years and it does not always work. I would rather have a natural solution to my problems, but I cannot find any medical person that can help me. Anyone out there that can direct me to the correct person, it would be greatly appreciated. As you can see it is 12:29 am and I am awake . . . HELP!

Doctor on the West Side

Thanks for writing. I think many women can relate to the sleeplessness associated with menopause. We are researching resources and will get back to you within the day.

West Side Doctor possibility

I've heard women say they like Dr. James Mouer over at St. Joseph's Hospital on Third Avenue and Thomas Road. For more information:

Has anyone else have a doctor they really like?

Not on the West Side

Although in the opposite direction, the teaching clinic for Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) located at Hayden & McDowell is fantastic and very affordable. I live in North Central Phx and do not hesitate to travel to Scottsdale to see Dr. Marchese. The savings in what SCNM charges clearly makes up for the cost in gas.

If you have insurance to cover doctor visits (I don't) call SCNM, maybe they can recommend a doc on the westside--they should have a list of their graduates.

Here is the link to their website:

Good luck! They surely did help me. I now sleep through the night! (P.S. they also helped me with my IBS.)
