I just had "Her Option" cryo ablation of my endometrial lining four days ago for heavy bleeding, cramps, anemia with my periods. I'd like to know if there are any other ladies out there who have had this procedure and their experience. Didi it work for you? Did it help with PMS too?

This story out of India makes me wonder how old it too old for children? One of the twins was apparently conceived through in vitro fertilization.

How old do you think is too old to be a parent? Would you have children at 72?

Since moving to another state, I have been suffering from seasonal allergies. This is nothing new to me, during the winter time, and now I am wondering if I have year-round seasonal allergies (sounds like an oxymoron!), or if there is something else I am missing/not telling my doctor?

What Are Your Thoughts on Pelvic Fitness?

Wow! So, I came across this article in the New York Times about 'pelvic fitness.' Essentially, the article profiles a gynecologist who performs pelvic reconstruction surgery in New York. She said she got the idea for opening a pelvic spa while walking by a tooth whitening clinic. You can read more here.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/03/fashio...

What are your thoughts on pelvic fitness? Is this an area that needs to be toned and rejuvenated? Or do you think this is just savvy marketing designed to rake in the cash?

I have relatively pale skin and am looking for a reliable sunscreen. I came across this link yesterday and found that my stand-by products may not be giving me the protection I need. Has anyone tried some of these others and found success?

Thanks.

Pins and Needles Toes: Sciatica, Circulatory or Other Condition?

Every now and then, for no apparent reason (emphasis on "apparent"), I feel an annoying, painful, pins and needles sensation in my big toe. It's usually only one toe, usually my left big toe, that gets this.

Doing a search online, I found all sorts of possibilities. But, I really didn't fit any of the symptoms. My symptoms are momentary, sudden, annoying and painful. Of the possible causes, a lower back problem fit the best.

Has anyone ever felt anything like this? Did you consult a chiropractor or neurologist? Which helped?

Hi,

I am Sathiya of age 24, single. I have adult acne problem. My skin is oily skin and I am getting depressed because of adult acne. I also have scale formation in my scalp. If my adult acne got cured, scales will come, and vice versa. I have used many creams. But no solution.

I have a doubt whether I have harmones problem. I am getting regular periods. Is there any possibility to test my body harmones and get cured?
If it is harmone problem, Will yoga or exercise be the solution for that?

Please help me to get out of my depression.

Regards,
Sathiya Priya M

Is deoderant-only better? Is there a link between anti-perspirants and cancer?

Is it better to only wear deoderant? I believe anti-perspirants are not as safe because they actually block the body from perspiring, and have components (ingredients) in them that can lead to an increase in cancer risks, instead of a deoderant that just keeps a person fresh.

Although what's not considered a cancer risk these days...

Any thoughts on this?

I have a male friend who is in his late 40's and was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is undergoing treatment and has been experiencing really bad hot flashes. Has any one heard of this and/or is there any thing that can be done to help him decrease the frequency or the severity of them?
