One of my favorite Queen songs is Who Wants to Live Forever? I am not sure I do.
So I know I won't live forever, anyway, but I see so many headlines these days about how to lengthen our lives, and captions like "you too can live to be 120!" with a picture of some cute, smiling little old lady in a French nursing home underneath.
But I have a question. Two, in fact. One, do I actually want to live that long, and two, can I afford to?

I had ankle fusion surgery on my left ankle in Dec of 2007 after suffering from arthritis in my ankles. I just thought I'd see if there are others on here who have been through the same thing.

I've been happy with the birth control pill (BCP) that I'm currently on (have been taking for 15+ years), and recently saw an advertisement for Yaz. Is anyone taking Yaz, and/or do know more information about it? (I've looked at the Yaz website, and they claim that this pill helps with premenstrual symptoms and other emotional stuff that would help me!).

I read a story this morning about how mental health treatments have come a long way. While treatments may have come along way, do you think the stigma associated with mental illness has subsided? Where do you see examples?

So I've just learned that I'm obese. And I had NO IDEA. But not only that, no one I've shared this with believes me! Not even my team here at EmpowHer! People have been laughing and rolling their eyes at me all day long. And I can't say I blame them because when you see me, obesity is the farthest thing you think of.
