Hattie explains the ways her eating habits have changed since having gastric bypass surgery.
Hattie:
Well, of course I don’t eat as much now. I try to stay with it. Well, it’s not a hard thing to do. I pretty much stick to it. I mean, there’s times where I might relax a little bit, but not that often.
In the two years I haven’t gained any weight. I am eating smaller portions. Of course, after my first year I can eat a little bit more than I started out at eating, but I can’t go back for that second or maybe the third that I would have in the beginning.
So my portions are limited, and, you know, I try to eat my protein first. That fills you up, and then I move on to my other; you know, therefore, I am not as hungry by the time I get to the rest of it.
