Cheri Shares Her Experience With Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Shyam Dahiya’s Staff (VIDEO)

Let me share with you my experiences with Dr. Dahiya’s staff. Starting with Amelia, she was my first contact with the office, and we were dealing over the Internet, and then we started exchanging phone numbers, and she was with me the whole time. She held my hand, she saw me through the process, and for her even, I was a challenge because what I needed to have done is not normal. It’s not a normal procedure.

So she had to go through a few months of back and forth with my insurance company. She was fighting for me, and she was my advocate, and I knew that. And anything I could get to her to provide her the support, I was happy to do that. But when I came into the office and I got to meet Claudia and Adeline and Dr. Kerr–everybody was fabulous. They are very warm, kind, non-judgmental, very helpful. And they always were nice to me when I was in here or whether it was on the phone.

They were able to effectively handle what I was, the request for information, and there was always a lot of fun in here too. I can always amuse myself and I make new friends every time I come in to Dr. Dahiya’s office, and that’s one of the blessings that I have.
