Dr. Naim:
Hello. I am Dr. Joseph Naim. I am a bariatric surgeon. I am a Board Certified, fellowship trained surgeon. My specialty is weight loss surgery. Actually, all of my practice is dedicated to weight loss surgery. The reason is that there’s an epidemic of obesity in America, and fortunately we have multiple options that we can provide the patients with in term of surgical weight loss.

Basically, there are two different bands, two different companies, but they do the same thing. I would tell to most of my patients that the risk and complication are the same, but they are welcome to go online and do research, but it is basically the same kind of system for weight loss.

About Dr. H. Joseph Naim, M.D.:
Dr. Naim received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Southern California in Los Angeles, with distinction in research with departmental honors. He then completed his medical training at prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in New York City. This was followed with four years of training in general surgery, which concluded with an additional year as Chief Surgical Resident at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. His interest in weight loss surgery took him to another year of fellowship training in University Medical Center in Princeton, under direction of world renowned bariatric surgeon, Robert E. Brolin, M.D.
