Wako Takayama takes her feet very seriously. She takes yours seriously as well. Wako is a certified acupressure practitioner, with a passion for wellness.

Pamper your feet and they will make you less prone to leg and lower back pain. Nurture them and they will help you to relax and sleep like a baby.

Wako recommends some unusual tools to assist you in your quest for happy feet. The tennis balls are a little surprising, but the toe stretchers really caught my eye. Both the tennis balls and toe stretchers are said to bring great relief to one's lower extremities.

"Wako trained at the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, California where she completed a Professional Specialization Program in Traditional Asian Therapies. She brings a rich background of service, education, business experience and life passions to her wellness work. She has degrees in Social Anthropology from Harvard and Stanford Universities, and has worked for over 15 years developing and marketing technology and consumer products in the US and Asia. Wako practices Anusara yoga, plays latin-jazz violin, and loves to travel and speak Spanish. Wako was the resident acupressure-practitioner at Jazz Camp West 2006."
