Annette, who has faced breast cancer and ovarian cancer, shares her motivation to advocate for other women with ovarian cancer.
Annette:
I think this is my purpose, I really do. I feel as though this disease came into my life, and it could have been the absolute worst thing ever, but I didn’t want it to be. And so I chose to take my situation and my condition and the things that I learned from it to help other women because that’s my legacy. That’s how I’ll make a difference, and I’ll do it till the day I die.
