Glynis Shares How Treatment Was At The Mayo Clinic (VIDEO)

My experience dealing with breast experience at the Mayo Clinic was absolutely A1 phenomenal. I felt like I was the only patient that they had. Basically, the Mayo Clinic gives you an itinerary. They are so incredibly organized and they care so much about your health that it was all scheduled. Everybody was in the loop. I didn’t feel like, “Okay, I am going to mammography and they don’t know in the breast clinic what’s going on with me.”

By the time I had a mammogram and went to the breast clinic, they had the results. I mean, they were so in tune with each other and so I felt like I was getting comprehensive treatment as opposed to, “Okay, now I have to go through my story and explain everything all over again,” you know, in medical terms, I don’t understand, they knew exactly what they were doing.

And so, it took a lot of pressure and guesswork off of me because although I was working with different departments, they were so singing the same song that I didn’t have to worry much about my care and my treatment because I felt everybody was working for me at Mayo Clinic.
