Lori shares why she became a runner after surviving breast cancer.
Lori:
I have been a social runner for many years, and it has just been more of a therapy thing to me. It just makes my day. I run four to five times a week. So obviously when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and then going through that major surgery, you know I could not exercise for six weeks. But that gave me more determination to come back and do it more and do it better, so I now try to hit three to four Susan G. Komen Race For the Cures a year, and I had a little bit of success with that. My big goal is to run a half marathon; it's the national breast cancer marathon in Jacksonville, Florida on February 17. I am going to do a half marathon and raise some money for breast cancer.
