Originally misdiagnosed, Martha shares the key to overcoming her battle with breast cancer.

Martha:
My name is Martha. I am about a 14-year survivor, and one of the keys to my survivorship is to be aggressive with your health. Two, when you know there’s a problem, go to your doctor. If you don’t feel you’re getting the right answer, seek that answer, because I was misdiagnosed. I was ignored but I continued on, and then since I was diagnosed I found a support group before I went in for my surgery, and the support group was the most fantastic thing that a woman who's been diagnosed with, can have. It helps your family and also you’re working with these survivors, given advice, getting advice and you just continue on; attitude, sense of humor is the key.
