Paula explains her chemotherapy brain symptoms.
Paula:
I can tell you that I still have it sometimes. You just can’t think of what you want to say. When you are very anemic, you are just kind of dizzy, and you get these, I would get these like palpitations in my chest. But the chemo brain is just thought processes that don’t work the way they should. Now I played Mahjong last night, and I’m playing, and all of a sudden I did something that I shouldn’t have done. And I am saying, “Well, you can see I am not thinking; that’s chemo brain.”
