Have you ever noticed that some "diet" foods contain a large percentage of sodium? Even "healthier" menu choices at the restaurant may be highly salted to enhance the flavor of the foods. Our bodies do need sodium, but we also have limits.

I talk a lot in speeches, programs, and articles about the financial toll that atrial fibrillation takes on us and our families.
A new study from The Commonwealth Fund reinforces the burden of rising medical costs in the U.S. on individuals and families. Those of us that have suffered with atrial fibrillation will not find this information at all surprising.

One of my exercise programs recommends I use a heart rate monitor. Naturally I want to boost my heart health but am not sure where to start in terms of which heart monitor to use. A friend suggested I try a 'ring' or 'finger' monitor, but it didn't fit correctly. I'm also looking for a reliable pedometer. Any suggestions?
