Are you sleep-deprived?
"Of course I am, you say! I'm working, I'm raising kids, I'm living in a 24/7 information-wild universe and I'm trying to keep up with friends and family. Sleep just has to wait sometimes because of all the other things going on in my life."
Well, I am too, but I'm going to resolve to try to do better. Here's a quiz from the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta on the Epworth Sleepiness Scale:

Fibromyalgia
Serotonin Cluster of Symptoms = Depression, anxiety / panic, obsessive / compulsive, and Procrastination.
If you have these symptoms, and they came with the FMS, it indicates a problem with Serotonin Reuptake.
Signals from your brain to your body are not moving correctly.
We found that taking a small amount of any good SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) relieves the symptoms.
We take it in the evening, so that signals are optimal while the body does maintenance during sleep.
Can't fall asleep or can't stay asleep?

Do you nap?
I don't because I don't feel well for the rest of the day, if I nap. And it also takes me so long to relax that by the time I was ready to fall asleep, it'd be time to get up.
Napping is not really an option for me but if it were, I could only nap for a maximum of 15 minutes. If I took even only a 30-45 minute nap, I'd be groggy for the remainder of the day.
Yet I know some people can take a 30 minute 'power nap' and be really energized afterwards.
I wonder why naps work for some, and don't for others?

MONDAY, Sept. 8 (HealthDay News) -- Getting five hours or less of sleep a night increases the risk of falls among women aged 70 and older, says a U.S. study.
It also found that the use of sleep medications doesn't seem to influence the link between amount of sleep and fall risk.
Researchers measured sleep, sleep efficiency (percentage of time in bed spent sleeping) and frequency of falls in 2,978 women aged 70 and older. The women averaged 6.8 hours of sleep per night and spent an average 77.2 minutes awake after initial sleep onset.
