AIRBORNE...DOES IT REALLY WORK?

Airborne just lost a law suit for $30 Million dollars. The claim being that there is no science behind the product. No testing, clinical trials etc... They say it can't possible ward off colds or the flu.

I've actually take Airborne and have since it hit the drug stores. It seems to work well for me. Is it simply the placebo effect? Or, does it really work?

Would love to know what you think.....

Spring Cleaning: Check Your Medicine Cabinet

Spring is almost here. While "spring cleaning" the rest of your home, take time to check your medicine cabinet for expired remedies, prescriptions and OTC drugs. What should you toss and what should you have on hand in your medicine cabinet. USC Health (University of Southern California) suggests taking inventory of your medicine cabinet, even conducting a "brown bag review" of your prescription medicines with your pharmacist. As my brother-in-law is a respected pharmacist in his area, I'm sure he'd appreciate spreading the word on this topic!

OTC Migraine Medicine

Migraines run in my family. My mom and sister get them, and I never understood their agony until I got my first migraine last year. I was astonished that a headache could also lead to stomachache, being unable to stand upright, to be near *any* light, blurred vision...it's scary! Luckily, I don't get them very often. When I do, I take OTC that is specifically for migraines (however, I did compare the label, and the "migraine" version was no different from the "extra strength").
