I have just finished a 5-day kidney detox that uses lemon juice, cayenne, and water for a flush drink you only have to do in the morning. The rest of the day you do a specific detox tea, juice flushing of your own make, and water. This program recommends you juice flush for 3 of the 5 days, but eat clean healthy foods the other two. As far as the 10 day lemon drink, I would think that much lemon juice, which is very acidic would be overtaxing your pH levels making it hard for the body to compensate, not to mention upset stomach! I have also done the bowel detox made by the same natural healing Dr and I feel 10 to 20 years younger when I do. just google herbdoc.com Its a proven program and good to you!
