I think there comes a point at which our bodies will plateau for a while, but the measuring tape will show a change in body shape, as we become more fit.

I've been at that plateau for a little over a year, my body shape has changed, but I'm finally starting to shed a few more pounds. I'll have to see if I can find the article I once read about how people who weighed themselves every morning tended to lose more weight than those who did not check the scale. I think it was more about holding yourself accountable than anything else, but I think some people would only feel depressed about lack of results. My scale tells me that I either need to work harder on my runs, or I deserve a little treat, lol!

RunTex in Georgetown started offering a Zumba class. I took one some years ago and it was a blast! I'd swim more if we had our own pool. Fighting the swim teams for time (that is supposed to be adult swim time, anyway) is no fun.

Unbuttered, lightly salted air popped white popcorn makes a good, low calorie, low-fat snack.
