Alison, this is absolutely fascinating. In your words, who knew? This is something I would be willing to try. And like you, I'm wondering why more grocery stores don't share the Brix measurements with their consumers. It seems that in a world where so many people are on specialized diets (or in some cases, they should be?) some people would find this information very valuable. I'm wondering if anyone knows of some other measurements that are as valuable, but perhaps less time consuming?
