my periods were like clock work, on time never late. However, the last 3-4 periods were extremely heavy and lasted longer then normal. January was my last period. About 3 weeks ago, when I would go to the bathroom, I would notice blood on the paper, so I used a panty liner and nothing on the pad. This went on for 3-4 days. Today I think I have started and am using a pad, and noticed blood in both areas. I am a little concerned because I have been experiencing frequent urinating and lower back pains. Please help

I have been pretty regular through out my life with 5 day cycles. I was a late bloomer some could say. When I had my thyroid removed when I was 38. After that my cycles have been all over some times a week late and some times a week early. About a year and 1/2 ago I was about 2 weeks late. I now am 6 days with day 4-5 being almost nothing and day 6 almost as if it were day 2 full blown. My last period was in April and I still have not gotten my period. I had a pregnancy test about a week ago and it was negative. I was also told I had a cyst and that is why I'm heavier flow now. I do go back to the doctor on Tuesday but its not the OBGYN.
what could this all be?

I'm 43 and on birth control. I haven't had sex so can't be preggers but I missed my period. Is this normal when on the pill?

I am 46 years old. We had our second child when I was just shy of 44 and she breastfed until this last March. My periods resumed four months after her birth, even with demand breastfeeding and ranged from21-35 days apart. My last period began May 28 and was normal. We went on vacation in early June and we do not use any form of birth control. Shortly after returning, I stared having horrible hot flashes, light-headed ness, nausea and fatigue. I assumed it was just jet lag and recovering from a busy trip with two demanding kids. It's now been 63 days since my last period. My BBT has been rather low and I just experienced two weeks of what I assumed was fertile cervical fluid until a friend asked if I might be pregnant. I don't have any symptoms now but am still wondering if I did conceive and am pregnant even though my temps are low. I know at my age I am certainly peri menopausal but have never gone this long without a cycle, so I am a little worried we might have another little one on the way! I haven't taken a test yet because I don't want to make a fool of myself! Any thoughts?..

i'm turing 44 this yr. & just skipped jan. ,now bleeding mostly heavily 13 days now-began lightly, slowed for a bit yesterday then resumed as if i were on day 2 or 3 of my formerly normal set...not cramping much so idk what it could be except going into menopause cuz of occasional hot flashes/night sweats.

I am 44 years old. I've missed my period since December. it is now February. I went to the doctor and took a pregnancy test (urine)and it came up negative. But my breast are tender, I've gained some weight, and I am incredibly tired. I mean sleepy al the time. Can anyone give me some information or point me in the right direction to find out what is going on...thank you
