I was diagnosed with Chronic Bronchitis a few years ago. Ever since then, I've had bronchitis at least once per year. I was sick with bronchitis 3 months ago and now have it again. Except this time I don't have insurance and can't afford a doctor. A $1,000 hospital bill is out of the question for me right now. The difference this time is I had a temp of 103 and teeth shattering chills. The sickness came on suddenly with me being bed ridden with 12 hours of first feeling ill. I started spitting up green gook immediately. I think I have pneumonia this time instead of bronchitis. I'm using mucinex and an steroid inhaler from my last trip to an actual doctor. I'm trying to rest as much as possible but my heavy wheezing is making it impossible to sleep. I'm drinking tea and taking supplements. Any suggestions. Home remedies?
