Mee too. I had maddening itching along the hairline on the labia. Washing during a shower with creamy Olay type cleanser seems to help a bit, but the itching would be back in a day just was maddening at times and you really don't to be scratching there. I just figured it was some intense dryness.

My obgyn thought it was the Lichens as well, but went to the dermatologist and she said no, it is not lichen but is vitiligo, which I have on other parts of my body.

My obgyn had given me a script for clobetasol propionate ointment but I just use a tiny amount maybe once every two weeks as it works so well. The original dosage was one or two fingertip units FTU (tip of finger to first knuckle) twice day for two weeks. I never did that. I just use a tiny amount to try it, and the itching stopped and I forgot about it. Did not itch for about two weeks, even thru washings and bathroom trips, so that is how I have always used the ointment.

Dermatologist and ob and pharamasist said that is fine. Don't have to worry about over use that way, which is good since I've read this is on the super potent list, which is a little scary.

So if your obgyn has said it was one thing, make sure you ask a dermatologist, since they are a skin doctor, for confirmation or 2nd opinion.
