Are you kidding me? This is the first time I heard of her as well as this post. I am a bit outraged by the idea coming from a single Mother myself. Hum, my Brother is a nurse and I am a well-educated investigator. WOW!

Ok, let’s compare apples with apples: It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that the world has evolved and many people are no longer getting married. Do these statistics also include single Mothers who live with the father but are unwed and politically speaking are single according to the IRS?

I am certain there are correlations between single Mothers and criminal activity. What does this entail? This would be a single person household with the adult guardian working probably several hours to make ends meet. This would mean more unsupervised time for the child. Hum, rocket science.

Times have changed and even in married households, both parents work and it is not the same as when the Mother never worked and her job was parenting. Again, rocket science.

I take offense to statistics in criminal justice that are misconstrued and should be sociology. Look at the bigger picture.
