I've run several marathons and just did a half-marathon while wearing Saucony running shoes. I've loved that brand since I bought my first pair about 30 years ago. But the reason I love them so much is because I have very narrow feet, and they fit my feet way better than, say, Nike, which tend to run wide. Like Alysiak mentioned, this is a very personal choice based on your foot shape, arch, and other needs. It's great if you can go to a sports store where they have knowledgeable staff who can help fit your feet to a particular shoe.
