I don't know what it is about football gatherings that makes me want to throw all thought of proper nutrition out the window!
But when I think of Super Bowl food, I think of chips, dips, and things like buffalo wings. All finger food, and, unfortunately, food we can eat a ton of.
Why is it that we can eat more potato chips than chicken breasts, or more ice cream than fish? Why is it that my first thought of "game food" has to do with things like melted cheese on nachos, or french fries?

If you're going to a Super Bowl party tonight and don't want to overinduldge, be sure to eat something before you leave home. You'll be much more able to enjoy a little of this and a little of that if you aren't starving when you get there.
