I am british myself, so I've heard the endless Jade Goody shenanigans for the past few years. I even sat next to her in a Sushi bar in London once, she seemed like a normal common lass, nothing wrong with that particularly, there's thousands of them around. I have no interest in her personality, background etc, as that's all the tabloids and she want you to read, never the whole truth.

However, as a woman I believe that the awareness she's getting out there about Cervical Cancer, and all Cancers really, is the best thing she has done yet. Women ARE inspired by her, even if they won't admit it. Just yesterday I got a letter in the post about Cervical Cancer awareness from my doctor's surgery asking me to come in to get myself checked.

There's something about doing something for the good with your life, and I don't think anyone should be able to judge her in the situation she is in. She's a dying woman, she wants to make money for her children, she's raising awareness for cervical cancer, perhaps saving lives through that. What on earth can be so bad about what she is doing that we can judge her still as horrible person?

I've never been a fan of tabloids. Never had any interest in celebrities, but this one story has caught my eye in particular. If anything saves usually unecessarily lost lives, then I'm all for it.
