I haven't had to have one yet. I'm 38.. but knowing that the day is coming, freaks me out. I can't believe that they "squash" your breast between plates....sounds horrific! And I have heard that mammograms can possibly even be one of the causes of breast cancer!
Are they really necessary? I have heard that an ultrasound would be better but most insurance companies in this so sadly non socialist country will cover them!? WHY?
