Anon, typically food poisoning comes very quickly after you've eaten something -- within a few hours -- and you will experience vomiting and diarrhea (as your body tries hard to get the toxic substance out as quickly as it can), fever and chills, and weakness. There is a risk of becoming dehydrated from the nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Normally people feel better in a couple of days.

Here's a National Institutes of Health page on food poisoning that gives a lot of detail about causes, symptoms and treatment:

http://www.nlm.nih.gov/MEDLINEPLUS/ency/article/001652.htm

What makes you think that you are having symptoms of food poisoning? Do you think it could be something else?

Have you ever had inner-ear, balance or vertigo problems?

Are you diabetic?

Do you have anxiety attacks or panic attacks?

Have you changed any medicines recently?

Have you had your home's carbon monoxide levels checked?

Did all of your symptoms occur at the same time?

If you'll write back and give us a bit more information, we can try to do some research for you. In the meantime, I agree with Alysia, it sounds like you should check with your doctor, or at least call your doctor's office and talk with a nurse, who can ask you pertinent questions and see if you need to come in.
