oh my god. are you serious? statins haven't been proven to reduce the risk of any women, and only men with a history of recent MI.
here's a better idea...a low carbohydrate diet will lower pattern B LDL, increase pattern A LDL, increase HDL, and drastically drop triglyceride count.
so, instead of drugging everyone, how bout we educate people about a proper diet and everyone can lower their risk of CVD without drugs that increase memory loss, increase muscle depletion, among other horrible and permanent side effects.
