Dear Celtic Thunder, great question and unfortunately the answer may be "YES". Skin and muscles that hold the "shape" of our face (an other body parts) will gradually lose tone as we get older. Have you noticed that first thing in the waking hour your face is favoring the side you slept on and that recovery time to go back to its shape takes longer? Elasticity (or lack of) is the name of that morning event. The position we keep on the pillow that remains after waking up is your indicator of time passing by. There are great yoga facial exercises you can try before you go to bed and first thing in the morning before you put on your make up, it will stimulate circulation and strengthen the facial muscles which are taking for granted in our daily exercise routine at the gym...if you know what I mean.

But overall you are right about our bodies, we are not totally symmetric, a leg may be longer than the other, an ear smaller than the other, etc. But there are other contributors to this asymmetry and it is called aging process. Thank God we have healthy alternatives to slowing down the aging process!
