You need to ask your doctor to refer you to a breast diagnostic clinic. General practitioners and corner store ultrasound shops are not qualified to diagnose breast disease or disorders. Don't ever let anyone tell you a lump is benign unless they've done a biopsy. Always ask for a biopsy. It is safter to assume the worst than it to be lulled into a false sense or relief. 95% of breast cancers are curable if detected early. Unfortunatly your family doctor is usually the reason it is not! They spend far too much time pass you around to ultrasounds, mammagrams, 'wait and see' approaches, and antibiotics. Always Always Always, get a referal to an actual breast clinic when it comes to breast anomolies.
