Back to the Emegency Room for a Blood Clot

Damn! I just received a call from Dr. Kukinoor saying that I need to go back to the ER room tonight. This totally blows because I had scheduled to have several girlfriends to come over for dinner. They are probably on their way over here now. I told the doctor that I would go to the ER room, but only after my “dinner party”.

Apparently when I went this am to get my Ultrasound, they found that the blood clot in my right leg is larger and traveling up my leg. The doctor is concerned because he can’t give me the regular blood thinners (Lovenox) because it could cause internal bleeding from the spine sugery rsince it was only a short while ago. So, I need to go to get checked in to ER to get some sort of vitamin K shot, and be monitored for 24-48. At this point, I have to laugh. It seems that everytime I finally get home from the hospital I have to go back! The funny thing is that I have already been to the hospital twice already today-once this am for the Ultrasound on my leg, and then again tonight at 4:45pm for the radiation. I LITERALLY JUST GOT HOME from the hospital about 10 minutes ago!

Oh well, I guess at least the doctor said I could have my fun and then go to the ER. I can already tell it’s going to be a long night.
