I have suffered from heat induced headaches and migraines since as early as 5 years old (37 now). here is what I have learned. Having an enlarge optical nerve can exacerbate this so check with an optometrist. They are called ocular migraines.

Tips for preventing them
1. Swim for excercise, it helps regulate your tempeture. It's the only excercise I can do without paying the price.
2. If you have to be in the heat wear one of the headband type ice packs.

3. Try your hardest not to let your head go below your heart. This really helps

If unfortunately you do get a headache/migraine immediately do these five things.

1. Put an ice pack on your head
2. Take Excedrin tension headache it's actually better than Excedrin Migraine
3. Take three hits of oxygen, the kind you can get at a sports authority or on Amazon no prescription needed
4. Drink as much water as you can down 33 oz at least
5. If you can, lay down and close your eyes for at least 20 minutes or nap

Good luck!
