Miss Kitty, I am not a doctor but have had experience with CFS and pre-diabetes. Your symptoms sound a lot like CFS, but unexplained weight loss and your other symptoms also fit with hypoglycemia, which can precede diabetes. This is manageable, so don't be scared about it, but I do urge you to keep your appointment. If your fasting blood sugars are normal, you might want to ask for a glucose tolerance test, which sometimes can pick up diabetes or prediabetes when fasting blood sugars appear normal. Hope you feel better soon. By the way, if you are able to work out, it doesn't sound like CFS, unless you are worse afterward. Not necessarily right afterward, but the next day or the day after you may crash. Anyway, make sure you get a lot of tests to rule out various things with these symptoms. Take Care.
