Dear Anon, I'm sorry you are going through such a stressful situation, I have been there before. I have a few questions for you...Is May 7th the only time you had unprotected sex? Aside from the pill, do you use other forms of birth control? are your periods usually regular? and how late are you?
There are many things to take into consideration when dealing with pregnancy. You did the responsible thing and took plan B within the 72 hours of having unprotected sex so it could just be that your period is late. Just remember that plan b, like everything else, is not 100% guaranteed. Also, plan B is not intended to terminate pregnancy, so if there is any chance that you may have already been pregnant then it would not work.
I personally find that to ease my mind about the possibility of being pregnant, taking a home pregnancy test will usually do it. They have an extremely accurate rate when used appropriately. If you still have not gotten your period about a week or two later, then my suggestion would be to go to your doctor for a blood test.
Good luck and I hope to hear from you soon!
