Actually, I said that she's right at the age that perimenopause starts for a lot of women -- that's one thing I'm trying to spread word about because I bet there are lots of women (I was one!) who had no idea that perimenopause typically starts in your mid to late 30's. We need to be aware of this, especially when there are so many women who are experiencing symptoms such as heavy periods and end up getting procedures done such as ablation or hysterectomy, when in fact they might have just needed to tweak their hormone levels instead of having to do something so invasive and potentially devastating.
