Hi,

The "eggwhite" description for cervical mucus (CM) typically means that ovulation is about to occur. It is very difficult to distinguish "eggwhite" CM vs. "creamy" CM. Basically, "When your cervical mucus is in the wet or egg white consistency stage, ovulation is approaching. This is the best time to have sex, if you want to get pregnant."

When are you expecting your next period? Do you have a regular cycle, and is it usually around 25-30 days? (Meaning, your next period should begin in the next few days?)

Cervical mucus before a period (after ovulation) is usually described as "sticky" (not wet, creamy or eggwhite), similar to CM if you are pregnant, which may be "sticky" or "tacky" and similar to non-fertile times in your cycle.

Have you been charting your CM for very long? This form of tracking has the purpose of helping women notice trends and changes from cycle-to-cycle over a longer period of time, instead of being able to pinpoint ovulation or pregnancy; there are too many variables that can alter the consistency and "feel" of CM (including having intercourse several times per week when trying to conceive; many women confuse the semen for CM).

I'm also wondering if you had intercourse earlier in your cycle, as well as later? Your intercourse dates occurred between the 12th-20th cycle "days", and many women ovulate earlier (such as, "day 8") of their cycle, as well as later in their cycle (such as "day 22"), depending on the length of your cycle.

I can not vouch for the validity of these sites; they are not the typical medical resource that I provide, but they do include some helpful information. Please use these as tools, and consult medically-reviewed books or other sources to confirm the information.
