And you're right, the dynamic b/w jon and Kate has been a divorce - long time coming. I didn't watch the show early on so i don't have anything to compare their (especially Kate's) personas now to what it was.
On the other hand though, i feel for them since their lives are documented on television. It's hard enough going through a divorce without the whole nation watching your every move and passing judgment. I understanding filling out their contract for the money and the potential in future savings for 8 kids but it's going to be heartbreaking from here on out. I'm glad the show is taking a hiatus. Giving the family some time to cope and mend.
