Of course, this was one of the saddest days with the passing of Michael Jackson. I have known people with prescription drug problems and actually they still do. The long term effects of such abuse are horrific and can be seen in this 50 year old idol.
I remember that I had my wisdom teeth removed several years ago and ended up with dry sockets that put my under the care of percoset, a strong pain killer. Well, after approximately one month, the physician had to wean me off of them in order for me to sleep. This was a very scary time in my life knowing that I was that under control of the pills that I was unable to function like a normal person.
Since this time, I no longer even take aspirin or Tylenol for the minor headache. I am actually afraid of what these things do to me since I have an addictive personality.
