We did have anal sex a few times at the beginning of out marriage, with my consent, but after awhile, I said I would only be willing to do it on special occasions, because it hurt too much, even when I was warmed up and lubricated. I didn't enjoy it at all.
I really don't think, knowing this, my husband would purposely try to sneak it in, knowing how much it hurt me. I do think he probably gets too caught up in his own pleasure and just isn't paying attention. I have talked to him about this, and he has tried to be more careful and attentive as of late, but my anxiety just won't let up. I suppose it will just take time.
