Once my dr. taught me how to use it, I never had an issue with it. It's been about 13 years, but I'm pretty sure she gave me a prescription for one and I picked it up at the pharmacy. Your dr. will have to fit you, and it's good to try it out while the dr. is there in the room with you so she can check it out once you've inserted it and insure that you're using it correctly. And (I'm sure I don't have to tell you this, but....) don't be afraid to speak out and let her know if you're having trouble with it. I'd be interested to hear how it goes.
