A small amount of bleeding can be implantation bleeding, which is when an embryo implants itself into the side of the uterus. If you take another pregnancy test now, chances are it will be more accurate than the first one you took. And if it is negative again, you might give your healthcare provider's office a call and let them know. They might want to have you come into the office for a pregnancy test there, just to be sure.
