Hi, Laura,

Welcome to EmpowHer. I'm so sorry this is so stressful for you. It is possible you could be pregnant, since you didn't use an additional form of birth control during the 7 days after you missed your pills. It's not super-likely, because you took the 3 pills at once, which can act as a morning-after pill. But it is possible.

Have you taken a home pregnancy test? Since you are now a few days late, that's the first thing I'd do if I were you. Just to ease your mind if nothing else. Since you've had some bleeding during your inactive pills, that would lead me to believe that it's just side effects from the 3 pills at once.

If you take a HPT and it's negative, you might give a call to your doctor's office. You probably would be able to talk to the nurse on the phone and not even go in for an appointment; she or he would be able to tell you whether and when you should start the next pack of pills, or whether they would want to see you.

In the future, when you miss two pills, what you should do is the following:
Day 1 - missed pill
Day 2 - missed pill
Day 3 - take two pills (from Day 1 and Day 2)
Day 4 - take two pills (from Day 3 and Day 4)
And use an extra form of birth control for seven days.

Take care, and I hope everything turns out fine.
