Yes, we are fat, and getting fatter. I was in Target over the weekend with one of my kids, who has a tendency to tell it like it is, and at one point he said, "Why are there so many fat people here?" And then later when we were walking through a nearby shopping mall, he made the same comment and decided that he just hadn't noticed before how many people have a weight problem. It's so sad. It seems like we just keep getting bigger and bigger. How can we not believe we have a problem??
