The ring around your neck is caused by fungus! I had the same thing two months ago and thought it was from my thyroid gland. The skin became red and dry and flaky and sometimes felt like burning and itching! I went to the endocrynologist and the doctor smiled at me and said there is nothing wrong with my thyroid, all I need is Lotrimin cream for fungus. I had the same problem with my eyes and used the Lotrimin for a few days, and eyes went back to normal! Hope this helps!
