Hi
i recently started on yasmin (24 July 2009), on my third week, on the 08, 09, & 10 Aug 2009 i missed the pills because i have been sick and forgot to take them, however i had uprotected sex. On the 11 i had withdrawal bleeding, the doctor gave me antibiotics and told me to follow the 7 days rule and the hpt came out negative which i think it was so because it was early to tell if i am pregnant or not. how soon can i get back on the pill or should i wait till i know for sure if i am pregnant or not. has anyone experieced this or am i the only one.

Hi. So my last period was the week of June 8th-14th. I started my new pill packet on June 15th. On June 16th and 20th I had unprotected sex and my boyfriend ejaculated in me both times. I forgot to take my birth control pills day 6, 7, and 8 of my new pill packet (the friday he ejaculated in me, saturday, and sunday). I felt really bloated and then on Monday I had major cramps and heavy bleeding. What are the chances I could end up being pregnant if any since it sounds like I had withdrawal bleeding? is it possible to still end up pregnant after withdrawal bleeding?

Hi, around 4 weeks ago i was put on a course of antibiotics for 2 weeks, on the second week on anitbiotics my husband and i had unprotected sex. i carriend on my pill the following week as we were flyin out on out honeymoon and i didnt want a bleed. The same week i started experiencing light lower abdominal cramping, didnt hurt at all but noticed it was there, i put it down to the fact i shud of ben havin a withdrawl bleed that week. ive had these for around 3 weeks now amoung other symptoms, darker areolas, spotting, liight brown discharge, a couple of days of nausea, and a very faint line appear from my vagina nearly to my belly button very very faint though. This week i was a day late on my withdrawal bleed but its also been completely different, far lighter than normal, dark brown like towards then end of my bleed mainly there when i wipe, and seems to noly be happening for a little while during the day and stops completely in the evening and over night. this is not normal for my bleeds. ive done 2 tests and both have showed negative. ive no idea what to think, i noticed last night that my cramps were slightly stronger, still not hurtin, and felt more like a tugging feeling all over my abdomin, there have been a few nights when they have kept me awake because they are so distracting. thought? i do plan on seeing my doctor next week providing i can actually get an appointment, i just wondered your thoughts? Thanks Mrs T

Hello,
I have a question so I have never been on birth control before. And I started birth control for the first time on Sunday the 22nd of January. I missed days 12, 13,and 14 because I was feeling sick due to the birth control, and during that time I Had unprotected sex with my husband and he ejaculated in me 2 times once on day 12 and once on day 14. And then on Sunday February 5th (day 15) I started bleeding very heavily. Is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Hi Anonymous,
Unfortunately, anytime you have sex...you risk the chance of becoming pregnant. There is only one clear way of not becoming pregnant which is abstinence. The withdrawal method can work but there is always pre-ejaculate that you are faced with that can also make you pregnant.

At this point, wait until you miss a period and try a pregnancy test. Have you considered other birth control methods such as the Pill?

Good luck,
Missie
