Since i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism , ihave been on levothyroxine and thyroid supllements. Even though my tsh is normal, there is one problem-hair loss. According to my research,the loss of hair is usually a normal part of the hair's life cycle, and can also be a sign of stress, illness or a result of heredity. An effective blood test can rule out hypothyroidism, and is worth the peace of mind if you are concerned about hair loss.
