So is it considered sex even if the penis doesn't insert the vagina? Me and my bf mess around w/o clothes sometimes but he has yet to insert it. We've been doing it that way since we began dating so I know we're technically not virgins anymore but I've never had it inserted. What's been bugging me is that bc we've been doing it that way, my vagina has become irritated. I've gotten a yeast infection before and i took care of it but I think it's back bc it itches sometimes and there's a dark discharge. Could it be because of all that rubbing against my vagina? Could it cause a more serious infection? We've actually tried to have intercourse but idk if it's just bc I don't really feel ready and I'm tense but it hurts bad the times he tried to insert it...an answer would be greatly appreciated
