I agree with Allison's comments and everyone deserves to be treated well. It is how you present yourself sometimes though that may present such an issue.

Allison's concerns about drugs and alcohol are certainly genuine in this situation. Is everything okay? You also mentioned that your purse and clothes were moved so your roommate would not steal them...are you in a safe environment?
