If I understand your question correctly, you had unprotected sex on September 10th, and took emergency contraception immediately afterwards. This is great, as emergency contraception can prevent an unwanted pregnancy with effectiveness around 70-80%. Those are great odds.

It makes sense you would have irregular bleeding, as "EC" contains more hormones than your typical birth control pill (and, it does not sound like you are using any type of hormonal contraceptive), which can cause some "breakthrough bleeding". (Breakthrough bleeding is menstrual bleeding that occurs in-between your menstrual period).

Since you are late for your period by 7 or more days, a home pregnancy test would be a good option for you, as they are about 99% effective at detecting any "pregnancy hormone" once you have missed a period.
